As Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital Plano Medical Director, Omar Colón
closely collaborates with families, therapists, and clinical teams to
manage every patient's treatment plan from diagnosis to their return to
the community.

Dr. Colón is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Before
joining the Reunion Plano team, he served as a physical medicine and
rehabilitation program director at an inpatient rehabilitation and skilled
nursing facility in Plano, Texas. He has conducted research on pain
management and won multiple awards from the Texas Regional Medical
Directors Meeting. In both 2013 and 2014, he was named one of the best
doctors in Dallas by D Magazine.

Dr. Colón holds a bachelor's degree in biology from the Pontifical Catholic
University of Puerto Rico and a medical degree from Ponce School of
Medicine. He completed his residency in physical medicine and
rehabilitation at the University of Texas' Southwestern Medical Center in
Dallas.
